Dorianne Theuma Teams Up with Mandy Debono to Lead Swieqi’s U19s
Following an announcement of her departure as head coach of the U21 Birkirkara FC team, Swieqi United have unveiled that Dorianne Theuma will be taking charge of the U19 squad. The new coach said “I’m looking forward to yet another experience with this club. My main goal as a coach will never change: to see the players grow and develop into the best version of themselves.” This follows a three-year stint with Birkirkara’s U21s, during which the team landed two league titles, and previous coaching experiences with the National U16 team and Kirkop U19.
She will be assisted by teammate Mandy Debono, who until last season had been coaching the Swieqi United U21 squad and had successful stints with younger categories between U15 and U17 over the past four years. Echoing Theuma’s sentiment on player development, Debono said, “This season I will have a different role in the team, but with the same aim: to give my all to improve the players’ development. Together with Dorianne, I believe we can continue building further.”
