Hibernians’ New Trio, Valletta & Birkirkara Confirm Coaches, Mtarfa Change Facilities

The Paolites have announced the addition of three youngsters to their ranks, following the confirmations of several staffing roles. Valletta FC Women kicked off proceedings and formalised a coaching quartet, while Mtarfa FC announced a change in facilities for next season. The Stripes confirmed Jose Borg will continue at the helm of the senior side.

Hibernians FC’s Signings and Coaching Confirmations

The club have secured the services of Jeanelle Falzon for next season. The nineteen-year-old swaps Mtarfa FC’s blue shirt for the white of Hibernians. Falzon scored her maiden senior goal against San Gwann FC last season, which was enough to secure victory for the side. On Sunday the club’s academy also confirmed the recruitment of Amber Galea and Leona Carabott. The duo will be eligible for selection for Kathleen Saliba’s U16 side, as well as Ian Cachia’s U19 squad.

The club has also confirmed several staffing members including Brenda Muscat who will continue her work as the Strength & Conditioning coach for the side, while Sharon Costantino continues as the Goalkeeper’s Coach. Ian Cachia will assist Keith Gouder with the senior team, while also coaching the U19 side. This is in addition to previous announcements.

Coaching Confirmations at Birkirkara FC, Valletta FC Women

Birkirkara FC have announced the retention of Jose’ Borg who will remain at the helm of the side following the success last year.

Following the announced integration of Raiders FC to Valletta FC, the club has begun its work for next season at the Valletta FC facilities. In its announcement, the side confirmed that the technical director and senior women’s team coach Denis Guerra will be aided by the trio of Xavier Lopes, Francesco Galluzzo, and Joseph Buhagiar.

Mtarfa FC

The Blues announced a shift in training facilities which will see the side moving to the St. Aloysious Football Ground in Birkirkara for next season. The club paired the announcement with a change in training schedules as well as the collaboration with the Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS).
