Mgarr United’s Joelma Alves Gabriel

Following much speculation, the Greens have formally announced their second recruit, Joelma Alves Gabriel. The Brazilian makes the switch from Macedonian side ZFK Kamenica Sasa.

She joins the offensive structure, with the capability of playing in an attacking midfield role. Possessing a deft touch and undoubtedly some Brazilian flair, the Greens will be hoping her addition boosts their ability to unlock tough defences. Standing at a height of 1.7 metres, the twenty-eight year old will also be an additional aerial threat in the side.

Her signing follows that of goalkeeper Giulia D’Antuono.
