It’s been a quiet penultimate week as clubs finalise details toward the beginning of the 25/26 domestic season in Malta. San Gwann & Mgarr United were the only two clubs announcing signatures to their youth teams. Nina-Lee Naudi is confirmed to depart Sampdoria after two years, while Oceane Grange will head to Belgium.
One Week
The Maltese domestic season will raise its curtain next week, with the Assikura Women’s Youth League beginning on the 19th August, followed by the senior Assikura Women’s League on the 21st. A few clubs are chasing final transfers as others focus on final details. The penultimate week has been a quiet one, with just two signings announced across the Maltese clubs.
Mgarr United confirmed the signature of Rosalie Fenech who will form part of the youth squad as the Greens return at that level in partnership with Lija under the Lija-Mgarr namesake.
Meanwhile, San Gwann have added further depth to their goalkeeping unit by attracting Raisa Magro on loan from Birkirkara. The goalkeeper featured at youth level for the Stripes.

Naudi & Grange Confirm Switches
Having announced her departure from the French third tier side Racing Club Roubaix Wervicq Feminin last week, Oceane Grange has been unveiled by Belgian Super League side, Essevee Women. The side had a mid-table finish last season which they will be looking to improve.
Meanwhile, Nina-Lee Naudi has ended her spell at Sampdoria after two seasons, and will be moving within Italy. She will head to Genoa’s Primavera side, with the club’s senior team also featuring Rachel Cuschieri and Emma Lipman as they secured promotion to the Serie A last season.
