Hibernians and Valletta each announce trio of signings

Hibernians have announced their fourth senior signing of the window and two additional signings for U16 squad. Valletta FC unveiled three senior players.

Hibernians spruce up attack with Gauci Maistre

The Paolites have added another forward to their line-up in Demi Gauci Maistre. It marks the return of Gauci Maistre following a year of absence from the local league. In her previous stint the forward donned the colours of Swieqi United. 

She becomes the second senior forward to be signed by the club in the window, following the previous announcement of Leah Ayres. The Paolites senior team had also announced the recruitment of winger Martina Cortis, as well as defender Jeanelle Falzon.

The Hibernians Academy has also unveiled two further signings in Jade Galea and Yasmine Ghenam. Both make the switch from the former ‘Mgarr Mtarfa Zebbug’ team (which has since transformed into SKMM). The signings follow those of Amber Galea and Leona Carabott who were announced earlier in the window and who made the same switch. All four will feature in the U16 league which will be led by coach Kathleen Saliba

Valletta FC’s Latest Trio

Meanwhile Valletta FC have announced three additional players who will be donning the new shirt as from next season. Kayleigh Vella Barberi and Alicia Mifsud make the switch from former Raiders FC and will appear for the U19s and senior’s team. Additionally the side also announced the signature of veteran Thresa Scicluna who will feature with the senior team. These follow previous announcements which may be found here.
