Swieqi United have announced that they will be mutually ending the agreement with Kennedy Metzger who will be returning to the United States, following a four month term with the team.

The wide forward got off to a brilliant start with the Owls, netting a brace in her debut, in the opening match of the season. Since then, the forward made three more appearances, against Hibernians, Mgarr United and San Gwann, having had time out on the sidelines through injury.

Swieqi United’s coach Saviour Darmanin, praised the forward for her work in her short spell with the Owls, saying “Kennedy showed tactical discipline in her time with us, as we saw in the last match against San Gwann.” The coach continued, “I wish her the very best in her upcoming endeavours.”
